UNDERFLOOR INSULATION
We install an under-floor insulation system that keeps cold floors and draughts at bay whilst also making your home a much warmer place to be.
Many park residents complain about their homes being cold with particular mention of cold floors and draughts. What generally happens is the thermostat gets turned up to increase the heat output but as the heat rises this only helps upper body warmth and not the issue of cold floors. So effectively there is a risk of expending increased energy and fuel costs whilst not really achieving the benefit of real warmth and being cosy.

All park homes have a regulatory requirement of 25mm gap between the skirting of the home and the actual sub frame of the home. The gap is required to disperse trapped gases under the home that might arise from any faulty gas fitting. As modern-day homes are fitted with a brick skirting it is important that moisture is not transferred from the bricks to the fabrics of the home. The minimum 25mm gap prevents this form from happening. But what this gap also does is allow movement of air underneath the home. This constant air flow is the culprit of cold floors and unwanted draughts throughout the home.
